Spread the love

You won’t find them hosted here, but I’m going to try and keep a reasonably up-to date list of what’s out there in terms of 64 Bit modules.

Where to get 3rd-party modules.

This is a list from the modules page on the SynthEdit.com website, which I have checked, updated and added to.

Note: when trying to download some module packages using Google’s Chrome browser you may find you get error messages, the download gets “stuck”, or a new tab/window opens and abruptly closes. If this happens try opening the download link in Microsoft Edge. Sometimes Chrome is a bit over zealous in protecting your computer against malware and viruses.

Note: I’m not bothering too much with listing 32 bit modules now as 32 bit is slowly dying out now.

Please don’t expect to see a full list of the individual modules, my brain would melt trying to organize a list of so many modules, and keep it up to date (there’s a lot).

Community modules.
64-bit Windows & Mac Community Modules.zip   A collection of various open-source modules hosted in the cloud. There’s a “curvy” ADSR, an high definition oscillator, modules for making compressors, and a couple of effects.

64-bit Windows & Mac Again, from the SynthEdit.com website SFIZZ – A SFZ sample format player.

Elena Design.
64-bit Windows  Elena modules A collection of modules coded by Elena Novaretti.
There’s a lot of them so I won’t even attempt to list them. They range from easy to use DSP and GUI modules through to more complex Spectral Domain processors.

Klang Manipulation.
32 & 64-bit Windows Klang Manipulation a somewhat quirky website with a collection of GUI control modules.

QTN Modules.
64-bit Windows QTN Modules with a few useful GUI>DSP and DSP>GUI converter modules.

QTN Modules

Rob Herder Modules.
64-bit Windows modules from Rob Herder. Note you’ll get a warning from Google that the site is insecure, it’s just that its not an https web address and google is a bit picky over this. You can safely ignore the warning. There’s just one DSP filter, the rest are GUI data modules.

Rob Herder modules

Sasha modules.
64-bit Windows Sasha Modules a range of DSP, MIDI, GUI and sub-control modules, along with example prefabs to show them in use.

Shane Dunne
There’s a very interesting Karplus-Strong synthesis module (and a few others) hosted at Shane Dunnes GIT Hub repository

There’s also this resource too at the syntheditwiki website that will point you to some old 32 Bit modules as well.
